BandRich launches World’s First HSPA PCI-E Half Mini Card Module
2007-11/15
Taipei, Taiwan, Jan 21st, 2009 -BandRich Inc., a leader in advancing HSPA mobile communications technology, today announces the launch of BandLuxe M280 HSUPA/HSDPA half mini card module. It answers the call for compact size and power saving for HSPA connectivity.
BandLuxe M280 is the first PCI-E half mini card module to support Tri-band HSPA/UMTS (850, 1900, and 2100 MHz) and quad-band EDGE/GPRS/GSM network access for roaming on high-speed networks worldwide. It enables hardware devices to function as powerful communications tools with both voice and high speed data capabilities.
BandLuxe M280 addresses the major issues of portable devices - size and battery life. The dimension of M280 is 26.8 x 30 x 4.25 mm, only half the size of generic modules in the market. With BandRich's innovative design, the power consumption can achieve as low as 1/7 of the comparable products in power saving mode BandLuxe M280 offers top download speeds of up to 7.2 megabits per second (Mbps) and upload speeds of up to 5.7 Mbps. With the advantage of small size and low power consumption, BandLuxe M280 can be broadly used in consumer electronic products such as MID, Netbook, portable router, and other handheld products. It will surely be the most talked about mobile technology in 2009.
